About Nous
Nousu is a Finnish clothing brand whose clothes have been made in Pirkanmaa since 2016. We are the only company that manufactures Finnish tracksuits. Our clothes are mainly made in our own sewing shop Oy Trikoo-ompelimo Kehto in Nokia, but we also use a few subcontractors from Pirkanmaa. All our products are HANDMADE IN FINLAND.
Nousu's products have been inspired by Finland in the 1970s from the beginning. At that time, our country's textile industry was still in its heyday, with over 80% of the clothes worn by Finns being made in Finland. Nousu's goal is to revive the Finnish textile industry and show that manufacturing clothes in Finland is still possible and profitable.

Our best-selling and therefore most well-known garment is the tracksuit. The material of the tracksuits is familiar from the 1970s: it is domestically produced (like all the other materials we use), cotton against the skin, while polyester provides protection against the outside world. Our products are made to be durable, you can wash them up to 60 degrees. Read more about the materials .
Nousu is familiar to many from the movie Risto the Rapper and the Pufferfish. Jukka Poika, Heikki Salo, Timo Lavikainen, the Kuningaidea band and thousands of other Finns have also worn Nousu. Nousu manufactures casual clothing for both men and women.

Nousu store and retailers
Nousu also has its own store , located at Pirkkalaistie 1, Nokia (in the same premises as our sewing shop). Our clothes are also available from a few retailers , but we sell most of the clothes ourselves to keep our operations profitable.
